A submission from Egypt says the name Bardees means "Beautiful princess sent from heaven. It was the name on an ancient Pharo princess who used to rule upper Egypt. She ruled peacefully and fairly that up till now a village is named after her in upper Egypt" and is of Egyptian origin.
